Protocol

This protocol shifts the logic of the « 1% artistic » to a new use. The idea is no longer to allocate « 1% of the estimated cost of construction or renovation work, excluding taxes » for a public building to an artistic creation, but to determine the sale price of a work according to the income of its purchaser. For its first activation, the protocol applies to the book Élégie économique.

Ce protocole déplace la logique du « 1% artistique » pour en proposer un nouvel usage. Il ne s’agit plus d’attribuer « 1% du montant hors taxes du coût prévisionnel des travaux » de construction ou de réhabilitation d’un bâtiment public à une réalisation artistique, mais de déterminer le prix de vente d’une œuvre en fonction des revenus de son acquéreur·se. Pour sa première activation, le protocole s’applique au livre Élégie économique.
